PhD student Tony Melchiorri and MS student Owen Ball successfully defended their theses. Tony’s thesis was “Engineering biodegradable vascular scaffolds for congenital heart disease,” while Owen’s was “Effects of 3D Printed Vascular Networks on Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Viability in Large Tissue Constructs.”
